This Sunday

9:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist Family service Rite II with a blend of traditional and contemporary music.

11:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist Choral worship service Rite II.

In the pew racks, you will find a red Book of Common Prayer and a blue Hymnal.  The  bulletin will guide you through where to find both the music and the prayers.

In general, we stand to praise God, sing, affirm our faith and listen to the Gospel.  We sit to be taught for the readings from the Bible, and for the sermon.  We kneel or stand to pray.

St. B’s is a Christ-centered community so our Sunday worship is focused upon Holy Communion.  All are welcome to come to the Lord’s table to receive.  Come to the rail with  people who are sitting in your pew, and hold out your hand for the communion wafer, responding “Amen” when you receive.  When the cup comes to you, take hold of the bottom, responding “Amen!” and guide it to your mouth and take a sip.  If you do not want to receive, you are welcome to come to the Altar rail to receive a blessing from the priest.  Simply cross your arms over your chest so that she will know what you want.

Please join us for coffee hour in the Parish Hall following both services.

Christian Education is taught during and after the 9:30 service in the fall, winter and spring months:
